Gale holds Masters degrees in Physical Education and Physical Therapy from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings, including pediatrics, sports medicine, public schools, universities, home health, outpatient, and inpatient populations. Gale also earned her certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer and has worked with a variety of professional athletes, including NASCAR drivers and the Charlotte Hornets. In addition to her work as a physical therapist, she enjoyed being a clinical instructor for students throughout her tenure as a physical therapist. Gale has worked in pediatrics in four different states as well as on the Cherokee Indian Reservation in Western North Carolina. “Pediatrics has been a very fulfilling position as I have been able to work closely with children and their families.” In her free time, Gale enjoys being with her family and dogs and traveling.
Emily Steckbeck is a Physical Therapist with a B.S. in Kinesiology from Penn State University in a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences. Emily volunteered with the Special Olympics, completing a mission trip to Panama that provided medical care to patients of all ages. While in school, she completed fieldwork in the inpatient, outpatient and school settings. During her free time, Emily enjoys exploring the outdoors, seeing new places, dancing as if no one is watching, and cheering on her alma mater in college football.
