She was born and raised in Nebraska, earned her B.S. in Psychology at the University of Nebraska–Kearney, and went on to get her OTD at Creighton University in 2019. Life has taken her from Washington D.C. to Guam to Georgia, where she now lives with her husband, son, two dogs, and a cat. She’s traveled to 11 countries, once had pet rats during OT school (yes, really!), and her motto says it all: “Putting the fun in functional.” Because a child’s occupation is play, and she’s passionate about helping kids grow through fun, engaging interventions.
